HOW TO BOOK?
Please book through our online portal located here. Full payment is due at time of booking. Please email us directly for event bookings.
HOW DO I CHECK IN AT THE STUDIO?
Please do not arrive earlier than 10 minutes before your scheduled booking. Either a studio attendant will be available to open the door for you upon your arrival, or you will receive a code for the door with a detailed email one day prior to your booking. Instructions for accessing the studio will be emailed to you prior to your booking. If your reservation is on a weekend or after 6 pm, a staff member will text you their number to be let in.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY?
We recommend a maximum capacity of 40 people for the entire studio, and 10 people for the garage and kitchen space, 40 people for intimate events. Please contact us if you have more guests.
Vendors must be included in the capacity count.
DO YOU HOST EVENTS?
We host a limited number of intimate events in our space for up to 40 people. Please contact us directly if you are interested in the space for an event (events cannot be booked through our online booking system).
DO YOU HAVE ONSITE PARKING?
There is one private parking spot out front of the studio with easy access to the space via the garage doors on the main floor. Street parking is available along Fermanagh Ave. and High Park Blvd. Hours of parking may vary depending on day and time. Please confirm whether or not you can park based on street signage.
ARE THERE MAKEUP STATIONS ON SITE?
Although we do not offer any makeup stations there are private areas in the space where you can easily set up your own station.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN EACH STUDIO?
A list of furniture and props are listed on our site under each studio. Additional furniture and equipment can be booked as an add-on.
ARE THE STUDIOS SOUNDPROOF AND CAN THEY ACCOMMODATE VIDEO SHOOTS?
Soft music is allowed if kept at a low volume. Please contact us directly if you are interested in booking a shoot that requires audio/video recording as the studio is connected to other units in the building and sound can travel between the spaces depending on where filming takes place.
WHICH DIRECTION DO THE WINDOWS FACE?
The studio has north facing windows and southern windows on the second floor. The Garage has frosted glass which creates a soft light. The second floor has the most amount of light with windows on both the north and south sides of the building. On sunny days, you can expect direct sunlight streaming in upstairs. On cloudy days, the light will be soft and diffused throughout the day.
CAN I REARRANGE THE FURNITURE?
Yes, you can rearrange furniture or props inside the studio. Please lift the furniture when moving it around the space.
The studio must be returned to its original state before your end time.
IS A 1-HOUR BOOKING POSSIBLE?
We do not offer 1-hour bookings. The minimum booking duration starts at 2 hours.
IS THE SPACE WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes, there is street level entrance along with a garage door for easy access to the main floor only.
ARE PETS ALLOWED?
Yes. We LOVE dogs and allow them for photo and video shoots only. No other pets are allowed on the property. Any damage caused would be the sole responsibility of the owner. Service animals are also welcome to make your time as comfortable as possible in the studio. Do note that you will be requested to provide acceptable documentation. Please note that emotional support animals are not classified as service animals.
CAN THE SPACE BE BLACKED OUT?
Our space is a natural light studio. If you would like to shoot in complete darkness, we recommend shooting during the evening hours. There are (80%) black out blinds on the second level which help control ambient light.
CAN OUTDOOR SHOES BE WORN IN THE STUDIO?
We kindly ask that no outside shoes be worn in the studios during winter months. Outdoor shoes are permitted as long as they are clean and don’t track in dirt. Shoe covers are available if needed.
CAN I TOUR THE STUDIO BEFORE BOOKING?
We offer studio tours by appointment only. Please email us to inquire.
